- Open the sketch in Arduino IDE.
- Install the required ESP32 board package.
- Install the Project UNION libraries required by the project.
- Verify GPIO assignments against the hardware diagram.
- Test on one unit before deployment.

If inconsistencies are found between the code and the documentation they will
be reported rather than corrected automatically.
